His practice deals with the engagements of urban conditions, pop culture and ideas of perceptions with a critical and analytical rigour; investigating the intersections between sociological gazes, modernity, narratives and the post-internet, he operates in areas beyond and outside the realm of design, which allows him to take on different kinds of projects, as well as explore new visual strategies for new forms of communications.
Through his beliefs in the importance of variety and plurality, his work is frequently engineered to stimulate interaction between different fields and engendering new frameworks for collaborations and perspectives, as well as break down the barriers of entries for engagement.
Notable work include: major brand identity reboots for magazines 'Men's Folio' (2013), 'World of Watches' (WOW) (2013); National Library Board Singapore's (NLB) flagship historical retrospective and contemporary art show 'Campaign City: Life in Posters' (2013); Brand identity development for 'OH! Open House' (2012), and creative direction of the 'Tiong Bahru' edition (for curator/director Alan Oei) and the conceptualisation and creative development of the “expanded universe” book programme for Singaporean contemporary artist Robert Zhao Renhui.
